| Black Island is an American Plan and Housekeeping resort tucked away in the islands of Lake of the Woods, six miles north of Morson, Ontario. The island is 32 acres with hiking trails and a large sand beach. We have five cottages that will accommodate two to six comfortably. All the cottages are lakeside and have a wonderful view. Fish for Muskie, Northern Pike, Walleye, Crappie, and Bass. Some of the Lake's best fishing is right off our island! Hunt for Bear, Waterfowl, Grouse and Deer. We offer daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal space for your trailer or RV or just looking to spend the night and pitch a tent. Our 29 full service hookups which all have electricity, septic and water, fire rings, picnic tables most overlooking the shoreline plus 10 other sites. Our campground offers modern washrooms/showers, laundry facilities, a boat launch, docking, a beach, horseshoe pits, a covered picnic shelter and a dumping station. Enjoy the peace and quiet. | Duck Bay Lodge is located on a remote island in the heart of Sabaskong Bay on Lake of the Woods Ontario. The resort features six modern lakefront cabins with private baths, new boats and motors, all meals and recreational activities. To ensure your comfort, our boats are new 18-foot Lund Outfitters with 40 h.p. motors, flat carpeted floor, padded pedestal seats, depth finder, bow-mount trolling motor and live-well. Hearty home-cooked meals are prepared with care and served family style in the main lodge. They feature a wide variety of specialties such as baby back ribs, chocolate bourbon pecan pie and fresh baked bread.
